Welcome to the website for North Montgomery Middle School, home of the Chargers. I am Steve Renzino, the Principal.
North Montgomery Middle School is a dynamic middle school located in Montgomery County serving 415 students in grades sixth through eighth. We follow the trimester model which allows our students more instructional time in the core areas of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. Students take 5 classes a day for 12 weeks and spend 60 minutes in each class. This allows for more instruction in each class over the course of the school year. Our students also have the opportunity to take a variety of exploratory classes such as music, PE, band, media and a host of other classes. In addition, we offer a student resource time each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00-3:40 for students to get one on one help from their teachers or participate in clubs and other activities. We offer a second transportation route home for these students. This has allowed our students to participate in more activities and get more in-depth help from their teachers without having to worry about transportation.
We strive to create an environment where each and every student is given the attention necessary to achieve his/her individual success. We want your child’s middle school years to be engaging, challenging, interesting, and enjoyable. Teachers and staff work diligently to foster a school climate that nurtures affective and cognitive development. The Northridge Middle School family believes that success at school is achieved in partnership with students and their parents.
With all of us working together, we can help to make these great years of personal growth for your child and continue the strong tradition of excellence at North Montgomery Middle School.
